With the threat of a 625% tuition fee increase, almost 6,000 students of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines staged a walk-out on their classes to condemn the said move of the PUP administration.
and after that tortorous walk from sta.mesa to ortigas, the said proposal was junked, leaving PUP as the state university with the lowest tuition fee in the country and has proven that through collective action, nothing is impossible.
